what this Event is about

Best practice for management of lower leg ulcer is to apply graduated compression. In reality, this is often not or poorly applied.

What are the barriers to best practice? When is it safe to compress? How do I choose the type of compression? How much compression is enough or too much?

This workshop will explore graduated compression and its application to the lower legs. This workshop explores the hows, when, how to and how much of compression application.

Join us in this interactive workshop and learn more about the different ways to manage lower leg oedema and how to use compression safely for your patients to achieve best outcomes.

“Thanks Louise your humour was so good to listen too, makes this topic really enjoyable seeing how you enjoy wounds so much – thank you”
– Tracy, Aged Care Fundamentals, Gold Coast
