Nurses for Nurses Cambodia

This conference will explore some of the interesting, obscure, and devastating conditions that your patients may present within a variety of clinical settings. The knowledge gained will encourage you to look beyond the obvious and enable you to enhance your assessment and clinical management skills.

Jason Dawson Education at Sea

Jason Dawson


Jason Dawson is a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast Queensland. Whilst studying his bachelor of Nursing at Southern Cross University he developed an interest in mental health and has been working in this field of nursing since completing his studies in 2008.

In this time, Jason has undertaken varied roles including Acute Inpatient Nursing, Community Nursing, clinical facilitating and Nurse Unit Manager positions. In 2012, Jason combined his passion for nursing with his love of travel and founded CPD Cruise Pty Ltd with the view to providing Nurses the opportunity to update and improve their skills in diverse and unique locations.

Mary Wessels

Mary Wessels qualified as a Registered Nurse in Tasmania and in her career, Mary worked in both England and Canada. Mary has worked in many areas of Nursing including colo-rectal bowel and general surgery, vascular, orthopaedic, high dependency, administration and last and longest, day surgery.

Mary and her family. moved to Cambodia to run the Santa Clara Hotel 3.5 yrs ago and for the past 2.5 years, Mary has enjoyed working as a School Nurse in and American backed NGO (non-governmental organisation) School that consists of 200 preschool students and 450 PK to Grade 12 students.

Sue Walker

R.N., BACH NURSING (Admin), M.P.H.C. (Palliative Care), MACN

Specialist Nurse Educator

Sue Walker is a Director and co-founder of the Nurses for Nurses Network and the Nursing CPD Institute. As a Registered Nurse Sue holds Degrees in Nursing and Health Administration, a Master’s Degree in Primary Health Care majoring in Palliative Care, as well as a number of certificate courses in Psychiatry of Ageing, Gerontology, Chemotherapy Administration, Training and Assessment, and is also an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Trainer.

Sue has extensive experience both as a clinician, educator, and senior manager in the acute, aged care, community, and palliative care settings. 

Conference Program:

The program content is provided by expert Educators with extensive clinical and education experience. The education content provided in this program meets the same exacting standards as anything offered in an Australian land-based program.

The Nurses for Nurses Network combines great education with fabulous travel adventures. We have taken a holistic approach to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to ensure you get the most out of your education-travel experience.

In the spirit of adult learning, the Conference is delivered in two formats. The live presentations delivered in the Conference Room and there is the online library which is open one month prior to the actual conference dates. The library is an essential component of the entire Conference program.

The library consists of Conference material supplied by the Presenter/s which can include any of the following:

  • Research documents
  • Links to external information
  • Recorded Conference presentations
  • Electronic Notepads

The research documents and recorded Conference presentation form part of the Continuing Professional Development activities but are delivered to you prior to the commencement date so that you can start your Conference Program early. If you choose not to undertake these activities prior, there is a two-week window post the Conference where the library remains open to you. You can also undertake the library activities during the actual Conference.

Day one:

FCC Angkor by Avani is one of the most illustrious hotels in Siem Reap, playing host to foreign correspondents, archeologists, celebrities and dignitaries from around the world. 

Evening: Enjoy this opportunity to mingle with the other attendees at the complimentary drinks and Conference Registration function.

Day three:
21 June 2022 | SIEM REAP | ANGKOR WAT

Today we visit the iconic Angkor Wat temples. We provide you transport to the temple area and a full day pass ticket into the Angkor Wat site where you can explore the vast area at your leisure.

Angkor Wat has become the symbol of Cambodia and an absolute must-visit. It is one of the world’s largest religious monument.

Evening: Tonight we enjoy a cruise along Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers creating a magic memory.

Refreshed by a soft breeze, you enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and the overview of sparkling Phnom Penh lit up at night while experiencing our lovely canapes and beverages.
