This conference explores the complex area of managing wounds and the different wound types, best practice management, and dressing selection for best healing outcomes.

Take part in a range of workshops on dressing product types, developing a wound formulary (recipe on how to stock your dressing cupboard) and managing infected wounds.

Masters Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner), BA (Hons), RN

Louise has over 20 years of experience in wound management established her own Private Practice (Wound Therapies) following the completion of her Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She has worked across several public hospitals and Community Nurse Settings both in Australia and overseas.

She works collaboratively with several Aged Care Providers, private hospitals and Community Nursing Services and runs 2 specialist wound clinics for a GP Practice and Just Skin (Maroochydore) that specialise in Superficial Radiation Therapy.

Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Kylie has nearly 20 years of nursing experience and has worked across both the public and private domains throughout her career. She has worked in the perioperative environment, remote and regional centres, is a perioperative surgical assistant and Nurse Practitioner.
