Conference Synopsis

This Wound Care Fundamentals Conference takes you back to the beginning of wound healing and management. It introduces the latest science and practice information to be confident that your practice reflects the latest best practice guidelines.

The conference starts with the physiology of how wounds heal, then we journey through the healing process, exploring different wound types, how to manage them and the factors that affect wound healing.

What is now known to be important to ensure good healing outcomes? What other therapies can we use to support wound healing?

Louise will explore the latest wound management products and the criteria for selection investigated.

This conference is for all Nurses with wound care as part of their role. All care team members will look to the Nurse for expert assessment and the creation of wound management interventions to be followed. This content will provide you with the latest information to confidently do this.

The library consists of Conference material supplied by the Presenter/s, which can include any of the following:

  • Research documents
