We recommend that you register with as providing DFAT (Departement of Foreign Affairs and Trade) with your trip itinerary and contact details will help them contact you or your family in the event of an emergency.


The vaccinations that you require when travelling depends on your destination, so we advise that you should talk to your local GP or click the button to head over to the government website.


It is always good to have some currency with you for the destination that you are travelling to. Talk to your local bank or post office for individual advice.

Travelling, eating and drinking go together. But, unfortunately, traveller’s diarrhoea and other food-related illnesses can sometimes come along for the ride. The good news is there are simple things you can do to reduce your chances of getting sick while travelling.


You may be able to claim a deduction for self-education expenses if your self-education relates to your current work activities as an employee. For more information please refer to the ATO or your personal tax advisor.
